STRENGTH
You found the quiet. Now find what's underneath it.
Here is what no one tells you about the oldest living things on Earth.
They don't survive by force.
They survive by rootedness.
These ancient forests, some of the trees inside them thousands of years old, don't fight the storm. They were already in the ground before the storm arrived. Their roots go so deep, into soil so old, that nothing passing overhead can move them. Fires have come. Droughts have come. Centuries of winters have come.
Still they stand.
Not because life was gentle with them.
Because they were unshakeable inside it.
You have been through life's good and bad. And if you're like me, you are carrying the weight of both ends of the spectrum as well as many points in between, right at this moment. And some part of you has been wondering whether you are built for this.
More than to inspire, these trees are here to remind you...
The strength you are looking for is not something you need to find. It is something you came with.
It just needed something ancient enough to reflect it back.
You are rooted deeper than you know. You are stronger than you know.
