Beneath the ocean's surface, the rules change.
The noise of the world above disappears. Not gradually, all at once. Sound becomes texture. Light becomes colors you’ve never seen from dry land. The species living here, some of the oldest on the planet, carry lineages stretching back hundreds of millions of years. They are not waiting for your permission, your opinion, or your schedule.
They are simply home.
This collection is made from that world. Nudibranchs lit up like something you'd dream. Anemones swaying in a current that has never once adjusted its schedule for anyone or been in a hurry. A garibaldi, looking directly into the lens, with the specific, unbothered confidence of a creature that has never doubted it belongs here. Each one of these creatures depends on the others in some way to keep the ecosystem in balance. They each belong.
You have felt this.
Maybe you haven’t personally experienced this underwater, yet… But somewhere. In a place, a moment, or with a person where the effort of being you just... stopped. A moment when you arrived, and the arriving was enough.
