BELONGING
You crossed. Now go deeper.
Beneath the surface, the rules change.
The noise of the world above disappears. Not gradually. All at once. Sound becomes texture. Light becomes color you have never seen from dry land. The species living here, some of the oldest on the planet, carry lineages stretching back hundreds of millions of years. They are not waiting for your permission, your opinion, or your schedule.
They are simply home.
This collection lives in that world. Nudibranchs lit up like something you'd dream. Anemones swaying in a current that has never once been in a hurry. A garibaldi looking directly into the lens with the specific unbothered confidence of a creature that has never doubted it belongs here. Each one of these creatures depends on the others in some way to keep the ecosystem in balance. They each belong.
You have felt this.
Maybe not underwater, personally. But somewhere. In a place or a moment or with a person where the effort of being you just... stopped. Where you arrived, and the arriving was enough.
That feeling is not a memory.
It is not something you grew out of.
It is not something you have to earn.
It is still available.
This collection is your reminder.
Belonging is real.
And somewhere, it is waiting for you to come home.
