Flow
Flow
You felt what was real. Now learn to move with it.
Water doesn't stop for rocks.
It doesn't force its way through them, or rage against them, or wait for them to move. It finds the way around. Under. Between. It keeps moving, unhurried and certain, in the direction all water is meant to flow.
It has been doing this without question since the first water began to flow. There is a lesson we can't afford to ignore.
You've probably been paddling upstream for much of your life. Fighting the current. Insisting on the path you chose before you even knew what the river actually looked like. It's one of the hardest things to recognize in yourself when you are in the middle of it.
What if you turned the boat around?
Not to give up. Not to drift. The river always has a specific direction. Every stream on this planet is moving toward something larger than itself, and it will get there, but not a moment before it's supposed to. The question is not whether you arrive. The question is how much of the journey you spend fighting something that was never working against you in the first place.
This is the part where you realize you don’t have to control every aspect of life.
Going with the flow is not surrendering your destination. It is trusting that the current knows something about the path that you cannot see from where you currently stand. It is staying in motion, making real choices, steering with intention, and leaving just enough room for the universe to do what it does when you stop blocking things from coming easily to you.
I'd be willing to bet that some of the most important people in your life found you because something went sideways. A detour. A closed door. A plan that fell apart at exactly the right moment. And because you kept moving instead of stopping, you arrived somewhere better than the place you were trying so hard to reach when you started. What if you let these good things happen all the time?
The water in these images has never stopped moving.
It never will.
And neither will you. Go with the flow. Enjoy the journey. And trust in the course corrections.
