MY STORY:
Hi, I'm Jamie, and I love making art out of my photographs. It has always been my dream to become a full-time professional artist. Until lately, my most significant barrier was having the time and the means to visit amazing places to photograph. However, I knew my opportunity would come if I were patient.
During the summer of 2020, my husband and I bought our first travel trailer. It was cramped, had only five windows, and had dark-colored decor, but it was ours. And it allowed us to safely leave the house during uncertain times and explore new places. We started taking weekend trips to nearby state parks and national forests. We hiked, we camped, and I took pictures. I loved being able to capture the beauty of nature on camera.
But I knew I wanted to do more. I wanted to travel to far-off places. So, we knew we needed a trailer that would be a pleasure to live in during such trips. We decided to trade up to an Airstream and immediately ordered one. Airstreams are iconic American travel trailers that have been around since 1936. They're sleek, stylish, and, most importantly, built to last.
Due to the lack of inventory available at the time, we had to custom order one and wait. I again found myself needing to be patient. Many months went by as we waited for its arrival. Days felt like months. Delays came and went. We canceled many trips as new unfortunate circumstances pushed out its completion weeks further. My heart broke a little further with every delay, and I wondered if the day would ever come.
Then all of a sudden, just in time for the holidays, we got a phone call to schedule the pick up of our brand-new silver beauty. She was everything we imagined her to be and even more beautiful. We named her Streamy.
Completely fulfilled, I'd sit in the trailer parked in our driveway every day until our maiden voyage. I'd marvel at its design and craftsmanship. It has 16 windows and beautiful beech-wood colored accents with light grey cabinets. It even has a huge skylight! It was the polar opposite of the one we traded it for. That year, we made our Thanksgiving trip as planned and later joined a group of fellow Airstreamers to camp with regularly.
I'm so grateful for Streamy. She's more than just a travel trailer. She's a symbol of my dreams, and she's helped me make them come true.
She's become the vehicle that allows me to create my landscape art. I also make a point to photograph the beauty of this American icon alongside these breathtaking locations, which enables me to create a different kind of art to share with the world.

The motivation behind my photography has always been to display the Earth’s beauty. Earth is so valuable and fragile; it is our responsibility as humans to take care of it. To me, there is nothing more important than doing our part to give back to this beautiful planet we live on called Earth. Therefore, I use my photos to help promote conservation and sustainability.
One way I that I do this is by donating a percentage of the proceeds from every product sold to the non-profit organization listed below.

- Additional contributions made to the National Forest Foundation to plant trees.
